The skies have been heavy and gray, so it has been nice to be absorbed in so much color indoors. Here is a picture of a new quilt made with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.janesassaman.com\/\">Early Birds Fabric<\/a>. It is a traditional Cross in a Diamond design.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-fp5294ztmfI\/TzwBAsovvEI\/AAAAAAAABi0\/4dsfcjjkAbY\/s1600\/Cross+in+a+Diamond+2.jpg\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"400\" src=\"http:\/\/janesassaman.gloderworks.net\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Cross+in+a+Diamond+2.jpg\" width=\"394\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>It uses two colorways of the Strawberry Serenade fabric, one with a dark background and the other with a white ground. They are five and a half inch finished squares divided by 3 one inch strips of the Curlicue fabrics, for a 14&#8243; finished block. The border is made from the Berry Patch Border design.
